Creative skills are outpacing opportunities. Artists trained in traditional disciplines are embracing game engines, interactive technologies, and new digital tools, but they have very few places to put these new skills into practice. The “blended reality” production Ink & Paint demonstrates what's possible when emerging technologies and live performance come together.
Audiences are essential to the process. Interactive experiences thrive when they are playtested with a live audience and learnings are iterated on, yet outreach to test unfinished work is a persistent challenge. Storyplex Foundation created Playtest Society to bridge that gap, connecting creators with curious audiences eager to experience, shape, and improve new work.
